ManTech LogiCole Test Engineer in Fort Detrick, Maryland

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Test Engineer to support a pivotal Defense Health Agency (DHA) program within our Health Portfolio. This role serves as a senior member of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) team reporting to the LogiCole Project Manager.

The program is based in Fort Detrick, Maryland. This position is on-site three days per week, but expanded telework options are available for exceptional candidates on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct manual and automated testing using tools such as Selenium, JavaScript, QTP, and Core Java.

  • Prepare comprehensive Test Plans, Test Scripts, Test Scenarios, Test Designs, and Test Cases for both Manual and Automation testing.

  • Execute Integration testing, Functional testing, Regression testing, and Performance/Stress testing.

  • Provide functional and technical testing solutions for complex systems, adhering to SAFe and Agile development methodologies.

  • Perform Accessibility testing using JAWS, Deque-axe Tool, and ANDI, ensuring compliance with 508 standards.

  • Utilize API testing tools like Swagger, SoapUI, and Postman.

  • Engage in defect reporting and tracking using JIRA, Serena Business Manager, and other software tools.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including CM, Database, Development, and Business Analysts.

  • Analyze system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures.

  • Prepare for and conduct data collection and analysis, and report status and results.

  • Develop evaluation and test plans and procedures.

  • Support the development of test and evaluation documentation.

  • Work with other test organizations to support T&E program integration.

  • Provide specialized testing and evaluation capabilities tailored to system functions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and trade-off analysis skills – particularly cross-team coordination where a quality issue is related to multiple subsystems, teams, or processes.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or IT related field / or 4 years of related experience.

  • Experience with leading teams across functions.

  • Experience with large scale PI planning events.

  • Certified DHS 508 Trusted Tester.

  • Skilled in testing tools: Selenium Web Driver, Selenium IDE, Swagger, SoapUI, Postman, HP ALM/QC, QTP, Quality Center, Xpath, WinRunner, LoadRunner, and Jmeter.

  • Experienced with databases: MongoDB, Postgres, and Oracle.

  • Knowledgeable in configuration management tools: JIRA, Confluence, Git, Serena Business Manager (SBM).

  • Experienced with 508 Compliance tools: ANDI, JAWS, and Deque Axe Dev Tools Pro Browser extension.

  • Proficient with software applications: Business Objects, MS Teams, MS Office.

  • Ability to solve a range of problems independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Defense Medical Logistics – Enterprise Solution (DML-ES).

  • Knowledge of the technical refresh of the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) System to the LogiCole application.

  • Jira configuration and/or reporting experience, particularly in developing dashboards/reports for related metrics.

  • Certified ISTQB Tester.

  • Certified Google IT Support Professional.

  • Strong collaboration skills at all organizational levels.

  • Multi-tasking abilities with a proven track record of meeting stringent deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills and team player.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in converting legacy systems to modern technologies.

  • Expertise in designing and maintaining Selenium Web Driver scripts with Java.

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain Public Trust Suitability. Will be subject to a Tier 3 investigation for CAC eligibility only.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  • The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300-$155,200. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
