Job Summary
- This role is responsible for leading individual contributors, driving all product development phases, engaging with multiple stakeholders for managing program activities, and identifying process improvement and cost reduction opportunities. The role applies expert subject matter knowledge across businesses, functions, or regions to lead complex technical space and drives change initiatives. The role is also responsible for people-care management, recruitment, and career development. This role is also responsible for leading and executing the processes for running the business for our group. This includes readiness for executive updates, governance optimization and execution, and creating/driving processes to realize the strategy and vision of the business unit. This role will also work with their peers to ensure best practices and learnings are both applied and shared within the organization.
Responsibilities
Provides direct and ongoing leadership for an organization of individual contributors coordinating, managing, and leading programs to drive the engineering development and implementation of products and service offerings.
Leads a complex technical space and establishes a solid program around it with defined goals, program charters and long-term strategies.
Applies expert subject matter knowledge across businesses, functions, or regions and drives change initiatives.
Drives and supports all phases of product development for multiple products across the organization.
Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects and programs, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps.
Engages with program managers, marketing, supply chain, technical leaders and executives to communicate program status, escalate issues, and guide and influence strategic decision-making.
Coordinates with engineering and operations teams to determine timelines for the release of these features and bug fixes.
Manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs; ensures that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with outsourced resources.
Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities.
Provides overall people-care management for direct reports, including hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; drives and fosters organization-wide performance standards, expectations, and practices to support ongoing team member and process development.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software packages, people management, or a related field.

Per the Colorado statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in that location , at the time of this posting, is $165,000-200,000. This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.
