Position Location: Fort Carson, CO (On-Site)
About the Role:
The Tactical Systems Engineer - Mid will support PEO SDA, USSOCOM Components, TSOCs, and others to include Foreign Military Sales (FMS) as mission dictates, by providing technical and analytical mission planning, execution, and post-mission system support.
Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To: Support mission planning, execution, post-mission system/device that will be maintained in a serviceable status to support combat/contingency operat Achieve a system/device availability of 95% and a maintenance turnaround time of less than 24 hours from the time of notification within Continental United States (CONUS) and manned Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) locations. Provide Tactical Software Support, Mapping, Imagery and Geospatial Information System Support, Tactical Network Administration Support, Training Support and Enhancement and Upgrade Support. Assist with proposal development, if necessary. Perform other duties, as assigned.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years, within the last eight (8) years, operational experience with/or supporting the assigned Component. Minimum of five (5) years operational experience with or supporting an organization's navigation and mission planning techniques, including preparation and check out of flight plans for aircraft weapons systems or mission planning computer systems, communications, mission equipment, and planning techniques, including preparation of unit mission plans for conduct of peacetime and wartime special operations missions. Experience with the assigned Component's tacti al Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and mission guides. Knowledgeable of assigned Components operations and tactics.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline or Technical School Certificate related to computer systems. Equivalent technical training with experience that aligns directly to the duties to be performed will be considered in lieu of a degree for specific user units.

Other Required Skills & Abilities: Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Security Clearance: Secret security clearance required with eligibility to obtain a Top Secret
