SAIC is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Director of Engineering (DE) Program Office in Fort Belvoir, VA.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support the MDA/DE Director of Engineering by coordinating and collaborating with the DE management team.

• Conduct technical reviews of DE plans, coordinate Objective Evidence to meet technical requirements and milestones.

• Coordinate across multiple stakeholders to determine DE needs, prepare technical reports and briefings to convey DE status.

• Apply comprehensive knowledge of the system engineering life cycle and applicability for DE in the system engineering process to research, analyze, synthesize, and critique program challenges and issues, and propose candidate solutions that align with DE strategic goals and objectives.

• Develop and present technical reports and briefings that convey complex ideas and present concepts, status, analysis, and/or recommendations that are clear, concise, organized, and audience-relevant.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• MS Degree in STEM (Computer Science or Engineering).

• 7+ years of related experience Systems Engineering Experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the System Engineering Life Cycle.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Weapon Systems with PM experience.

Desired Skills:

• Good oral and written communications skills.

• Ability to work independently.

• Experience in MDA processes.

• Familiar with Weapon Systems management.
