About the Position: Serves as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist that is responsible for the oversight of the Joint Personal Property Shipping Office, Mid-Atlantic Region (JPPSOMA), Personal Computers (PC), and other related computer systems and components. Responsibilities Develops and modifies critical information on organization web site, as hosted by the Garrison Network Enterprise Center (NEC) and provides system application guidance and support to JPPSOMA employees. Oversees website information that is complete/correct, update on a timely basis as customer and transportation offices worldwide relay on the website. Confirms all information listed and links are current, and website is in compliance with installation security policy. Participates in the development and writing of training plans and provides user training for in-house application. Uses relevant transportation systems as data source(s) to develop accurate trend analysis and user or customer volume workload statistics for the JPPSOMA and supported Personal Property Shipping Office (PPPOs).
