Aerotek Maintenance Technician in FORT ATKINSON, Wisconsin

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, and troubleshooting of plant equipment. The role involves working with converting and corrugating equipment used in the production of corrugated packaging, product packaging, commercial packaging, and shipping containers. You will work with PLCs (80% Allen Bradley and 20% Siemens), schematics, and computer diagnostics to ensure smooth operations. Additional responsibilities include ordering parts, some facilities maintenance, and occasional plumbing, HVAC, and salting/shoveling tasks.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in FORT ATKINSON, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

The position offers a split shift from 10am-6pm or 2pm-10pm, with an expectation of 8-10 hour workdays. There is occasional overtime, with a typical 9-hour day and occasional Saturday work (half to full day once a month). The facility is clean, well-lit, and spans 148,000 square feet. You will join a team managed by Jim, with 2 technicians on the first shift (one primarily focused on electrical work) and 1 on the second shift.
