The position of Order Entry Specialist is within the Core Diagnostics business unit located at Fornebu, Oslo. In this role you will be responsible for processing customer orders promptly and accurately using the standard order entry system.

Responsibilities and duties

• Monitor order delivery and address any issues that arise.

• Handle incoming customer orders (telephone, E-Mail, electronic orders, standing orders).

• Provides logistical counsel to dedicated sales representative and customers.

• Assist customers with inquiries related to orders, logistics, pricing, invoicing.

• Handle back-orders by reserving non-critical products and communicating with customers.

• Manage instrument logistics, including order processing, tracking, and annual inventory counts.

• Receive and verify spare parts, ensuring correct part numbers and quantities, locate into the local warehouse.

• Receive spare part orders from service personnel, pick, pack and distribute spare parts in timely manner.

• Coordinate spare part distribution with couriers and handle returns to the European Distribution Center.

• Conduct physical stock checks and maintain control over inventory at the external warehouse.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred experience within orders and custom clearance.

• Good Office365 knowledge.

• Fluent Norwegian and English – Oral and written.

Personal Characteristics

• Proven track record in a similar position or a logistic or a medical laboratory technologist background.

• Successful engagement with customers, specifically lab staff preferred.

• Strong communications skills both verbal (incl telephone) and written.

• Customer oriented mindset.

• Strong team player.
