  • Position: Maintenance Supervisor

  • Pay: $75-$95k - salary

  • Shift: First must be flexible for business needs

  • Location: Forest Park, GA

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Supervisor enhances efficiencies and meets production metrics. Responsibilities include assigning work, analyzing productivity and methods, recommending improvements, resolving personnel issues, administering discipline, assisting with disputes, enforcing policies, and maintaining union relations.

Duties involve scheduling and assigning labor, monitoring progress, minimizing overtime, and reporting production results. The supervisor improves production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and workplace safety. They address food safety and quality issues, inspect products, and adjust machines as needed.

Leading the maintenance team, the supervisor develops and analyzes data and creates action plans to reduce downtime.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience, food manufacturing environment

  • Effective team collaboration and communication skills

  • Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects and priorities

  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP preferred

  • Excellent leadership, analytical reasoning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

The role involves preventing nonconformities in food safety and quality, stopping production if necessary, identifying and recording problems, and informing management. Required competencies include technical skills, dealing with ambiguity, team building, communication, customer focus, decision quality, directing others, problem-solving, and drive for results.

The essential functions of this role include:
