Aerotek 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in Forest Lake, Minnesota
Job Title: Maintenance Technician $28-$32/hr +shift differential
Job Description - 2nd shift
We are seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician to support production on our 2nd shift. The chosen candidate will be tasked with maintaining all machinery, equipment, building and grounds to meet OSHA standards. Responsibilities include the installations and maintenance of various types of equipment such as presses, CNCs, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, air compressors, welders, induction heat systems, ABB robotic systems, water treatment equipment and controls, and plumbing and piping. The maintenance technician will also manage inventory and parts, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical components and control circuits. There is occasional overtime available.

This is a fully on-site position in Forest Lake, Minnesota.
Work Environment
This role is part of a larger team of technicians. The company is a leading producer of steel horseshoes for the North American market with a history spanning almost 200 years. Each line consists of a robot that manufactures horseshoes, managed by 1 Operator, 1 Supervisor and 2 Leads. The company has a total of 83 employees including front office and sales. The maintenance department consists of 1 Supervisor, 1 Lead, 1 Facilities Manager and 7 technicians in total. The successful candidate can expect to spend 90% of their time in the production area, with 50% of their work being preventative and 50% reactive.
