We are seeking a motivated and computer-savvy Chart Retrieval Specialist to retrieve medical records from healthcare facilities on behalf of health plans and other clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Fieldwork and Travel: Travel to provider offices within a 30 to 90-mile radius to retrieve paper and electronic medical charts. Upload charts into our secure system for retrospective and prospective reviews.

• Work Independently: No need to report to an office after completing your day’s work. Submit remaining tasks from the comfort of your home.

• Comprehensive Training: New to risk adjustment? We provide two days of remote paid training, which you can complete virtually from home.

• Hourly Compensation with Reimbursement: Earn an hourly wage with travel reimbursement starting from mile one, covering travel between locations.

• Equipment Provided: We supply all necessary work equipment, including a password-protected laptop, scanner, and flash drives, all conveniently packed in a backpack with handles & wheels.

  Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.

• Valid driver’s license. (not applicable if in NYC and using public transportation)

• Insurance/liability policy in your name. (not applicable if in NYC and using public transportation)

• Reliable and secure internet with a minimum of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Basic navigational knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) applications such as Epic, Allscripts, e-Clinical Works, Nextgen, etc., is a plus.

• Availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility to work three or more consecutive days depending on project needs.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds safely and efficiently.

• Capability to use telephone or headset equipment in two-way communication situations.
