Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant with specific experience in Colleague software to join our team on a contract basis. This role is critical in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the financial operations.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.

• Conduct financial analysis and present findings to management.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize financial performance.

• Provide support for audits and other financial reviews as required.

• Utilize Colleague software for all accounting and financial tasks.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant, Assistant Controller, or similar role.

• Extensive experience with Colleague software is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in the University/Not for Profit sector is a plus.

Additional Information:

• This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere.

• The contract will run through the end of the year, with the potential for extension based on performance and organizational needs.
