Collins Aerospace is seeking a dynamic Sr. Manager to lead our efforts in warehousing, materials planning, and SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning). This pivotal role is instrumental in shaping tactical and operational plans that directly influence our site’s success.

As Sr. Manager, you will work in a highly collaborative environment, interfacing closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Program Materials Management, Site Materials Management, and Strategic 3PL Partners. Your strategic decisions will have a direct impact on our operations and success.

This position is onsite and reports to the Foley OEM Campus Materials Leader.

What YOU will do

  • You will develop, plan, and execute on short to medium term strategies and projects for assigned materials management functional areas. While engaging and collaborating on Materials projects and initiatives across the site.

  • You will assist with cycle count management, to include completion of all required monthly counts, metrics & reporting, forward looking compliance & tolerance adherence & escalation so as to ensure monthly targets are met & maintained, annual team trainings, ABC/XYZ indicator maintainence, and audit facilitation.

  • You will establish leading key performance indicators associated with functional areas performance and reports and oversee corrective and preventive countermeasures aligned with QCPC processes.

  • You will support and provide input on processes to optimize SIOP, capacity planning, production and inventory planning that is aligned with applicable policies and established goals for the area.

  • You will be responsible for chemical management strategies (CMS) with external on-site vendors (PPG) as well as 3PL management (INCORA/BDSI/Ryder) and off-site storage facilities (Keyport).

  • You will participate and lead CI/Lean events such as VSM, 3P, etc. and leverages CI/lean tools such as DIVE, RTPR, etc. to create systemic process enhancements.

  • You will participate in Materials leader forums and GMTs focused on SIOP maturity, training and career roadmap.

  • You will drive SAP planning parameter compliance and process adherence within scope of work as well as coordinate training for team members as needed.

  • You will lead Foley Site & Central SIOP process and report OTD & Inventory headwinds & results to leadership.

  • You will engage in key projects, including product transfers, new product introductions, business systems applications, supplier integration, strategic projects or other related projects within scope of work.

  • You will achieve delivery (OTD), inventory, cost and service-related goals and deliver on agreed inventory targets for the Foley site.

  • You will have direct interaction with internal & external customers, suppliers, factories, transportation, warehousing and 3PL providers.

  • You will be a leader dedicated to talent development, training and succession planning by prioritizing a safety focused approach to employee and product protection & wellbeing with an approach to employee and product protection & wellbeing.

  • You will adhere to and advocate for Collins Path & Leadership Behaviors to drive culture improvements leverging culture survey’s (PULSE) to drive engagement and develop & deploy action plans for improvement and sustainment.

    Education & Experience

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

    Qualifications you must have

  • Experience using SAP or other ERP system.

  • Two or more years of experience in a leadership or management role.

  • Experience with continuous improvement projects and processes such as Lean, Six sigma, or CORE.

  • Experience in materials planning/inventory management.

    Skills we value

  • Hands-on experience utilizing analytics, particularly in assessing performance and utilization metrics.

  • Experience using Microsoft office Suites such as Word, Excel, or PowerPoint

  • Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or related degrees preferred

  • APICS Training/Certification (CPIM/CSCP)

  • Change Management leadership, certification, training and experience

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
