Description We are in search of a diligent Medical Billing Specialist to be a part of our team in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. The role involves processing medical billing, maintaining the accuracy of patient accounts, and resolving billing inquiries. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process medical billing using Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)

• Manage and reconcile patient's Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Efficiently handle appeals and claim administration

• Perform billing functions with utmost accuracy and timeliness

• Utilize EHR SYSTEM and Epaces for billing purposes

• Ensure the correct administration of benefit functions

• Respond to and resolve patient billing inquiries in a timely manner

• Monitor and update patient accounts to ensure accuracy

• Continually review and understand changes in billing regulations and guidelines. Requirements • Proficiency in Allscripts software

• Familiarity with Cerner Technologies

• Experience with Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)

• Knowledge of EHR SYSTEM

• Ability to navigate Epaces software

• Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in managing Appeals

• Understanding of Benefit Functions

• Proficiency in executing Billing Functions

• Experience with Claim Administration
