Pharmacy Technician

Work location: Texas Health Flower Mound, 4400 Long Prairie Road, TX 75028

Work hours: PRN- working as needed to cover 12 hour shifts. While PRN hours are not guaranteed, it is anticipated that this role will work one shift weekly.

Here’s What You Need

Education

H.S. Diploma or Equivalentrequired

Experience

None required

At least 6 months of hospital pharmacy experience is highly preferred

Licenses and Certifications

RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire required

Skills

Proficiency in written and verbal English language, computer and basic math

What You Will Do

The Pharmacy Tech is responsible for timely and accurate preparation, delivery & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so. It is pertinent that they ensure accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation and must reflect consistently departmental QI and PS standards, programs and initiatives
