Join the State Attorney’s Office for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida as the IT Director and be part of a dynamic team! Have you heard? We are looking for an experienced IT Director who can supervise and manage all IT operations throughout the circuit.

Our office is responsible for the prosecution of all crimes committed in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties.

We are currently recruiting an IT Director who can effectively lead current IT staff by providing direction and guidance to achieve departmental and organizational goals and objectives. This position requires knowledge to design and implement comprehensive IT strategies and infrastructure, prepare and present progress and budget reports to upper management, oversee and manage data backup plans to ensure that systems are secure, evaluate IT operations regarding established goals to continuously improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness, and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all IT assets. Qualified applicants should have skills to include identifying and eliminating security risks to safeguard digital assets, assess and manage the IT disaster recovery planning and oversee its implementation to ensure business continuity, and analyze IT requirements to tailor solutions that provide effective trial support and meet the needs of internal and external shareholders. Additionally, applicants should have the ability to enhance user satisfaction and resolve IT-related issues promptly through managing the organization’s help desk, foster effective communication and collaboration within the organization and with partner agencies, and lead the hiring of new IT staff members.
