Summary Description of this Position:

Coordinate and manage non-exempt hiring and exempt hiring (director level and below). Trains and monitors production of recruiting staff personnel to include sourcing, qualifying, networking, and assessing potential candidates, as well as providing sufficient resources to ensure efficient attainment of productivity goals. Partners with HR functional areas with recruitment process such as job analysis & re-evaluations, pay equity, internal movement, streamline processes, etc. Responsible for attracting, interviewing and selecting job applicants to fill professional level job openings. Serves as a Consultant to the Hiring Manager to navigate through proper job postings, legal compliance, networking, and relationship building.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Some Essential Functions of this Position:

  • Partner with recruiting management to implement creative recruiting resources and solutions to attract qualified professionals for quick on-boarding and/or utilize other sources to meet Acosta’s staffing needs.

  • Disseminates workloads to the recruiting staff and understands Acosta’s strategic direction.

  • Coordinate and manage non-exempt hiring and exempt hiring director level and below company wide.

  • Leads, trains, and monitors production of recruiting staff personnel to include sourcing, qualifying, networking, and assessing potential candidates, as well as providing sufficient resources to ensure efficient attainment of productivity goals.

  • Partners with HR functional areas on recruitment process such as job analysis & re-evaluations, pay equity, internal movement, streamline processes, etc.

  • Fosters vendor relationship with third party agencies (performance metrics, timesheets, invoices, etc).

  • Serves as the subject matter expert and attends client business meetings across the organization to execute critical business needs.

  • Works closely with recruitment management and effectively communicates with team in a collaborative environment; fosters best practices and drives recruiter performance and results.

  • Work closely with Acosta management to understand and discuss overall staffing needs and requirements (description, pre-screen questions, critical skills, salary, referrals, etc).

  • Partner with sourcing team to develop appropriate sourcing strategies using research, job boards, web searches, referrals and industry-specific sources.

  • Identify/attend networking activities such as meetings, online learning, career fairs, etc.

  • Consult, build relationships, and educate hiring managers on the full recruitment process, problem solving, and hiring timelines.

  • Leverage and use the applicant tracking system technology and other recruiting tools to review/select top slate of candidates to move forward to next steps in the process.

  • Conduct phone screen interviews to validate and determine candidate interests, critical skills, and competencies needed for job using behavioral based interviewing methods.

  • Solicit feedback from hiring manager and recommend interviewing techniques to make appropriate decisions in selecting the best candidate.

  • Extends employment offer/details with candidate and sends system generated letter.

  • Manage selection, offer, negotiation, closing and administrative processes of full recruiting life cycle.

  • Consistently meet the performance metrics as defined by Talent Acquisition Management.

  • Partners with other HR functions and other duties as needed and assigned.

  • Other miscellaneous duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience Requirement:

  • 5+ years of proven staffing experience in exempt and non-exempt high volume industry environments.

  • Management and/or supervisory experience with direct reports

  • Project lead and training experience.

  • Advanced understanding of employment laws (EEO, ADEA, Title VII, etc).

  • Applicant Tracking System experience as well as Advanced Internet skills.

  • Advanced analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.

  • Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) intermediate experience.

  • Flexible work schedule (occasional nights and weekends may be required).

  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing hard-to-find candidates preferred. HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, etc) preferred. CPG, Customer Service or other related industry experience preferred

  • Handle heavy phone activity levels.
