Description
Job purpose
The Inventory Control Analyst is to provide personnel to augment current team to conduct inventories of special purpose tools, create outlines or shadowing of tools and inventory of shop stock material. Upon contract award, we anticipate immediately hiring personnel for on-site positions at Patrick SPace Force Base, FL.
Duties and responsibilities
Inventory Management :
The customer has undetermined amount of specialty tools that require inventory to capture the information and document it on Excel spreadsheets for addition to Maximo.
The tools are composed of different types of tooling and needs to be outlined / shadowed to allow for easy identification of when a tool is in use or missing from its location.
Depot’s have accumulated shop stock / work order residue that needs to be identified for addition to property records or prepared for disposal.
Personnel will assist with conducting inventories in Logistics warehouse to validate records are accurate in Maximo system.
Validate all information on the asset such as part number, serial number and model numbers and other information as directed
Obtain all data for items not listed on the file
Be able to use an Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) station when needed
Use a reverse count method (pull every asset out of location and validate when putting assets back) when validating locations that have more than 1 item.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data and identify trends.
Proficiency in mathematics and statistics to perform calculations and analyze data.
Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory data and maintain accurate records.
Proficient in inventory management software and spreadsheets.
Good communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams and able to communicate findings.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory records and processes.
Qualifications
Employees must be US Citizens, not have a felony record, have not been charged with theft (Felony or Misdemeanor) and not received a Bad Conduct Discharge from the Military.
Must be able to obtain US Government Clearance
Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects at once.
Leadership skills are required to influence the multi-functional teams to deliver against the agreed standards, objectives, and schedules.
Inventory planning or purchasing experience is desired.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a similar field is desired, but not required.
Analytical and critical thinker with problem solving skills
Must have excellent communication, phone etiquette, customer service and people skills, as well as be able to multitask and stay organized
Ability to multi-task and work independently, and have a sharp attention to detail
Working conditions
Working conditions may vary based on project and requirements. A Monday through Friday work week is expected.
Core duty hours are 07:30 to 16:00 with 30 minutes for lunch.
Personnel will need to bring their lunch with them to the sites since travel to and from eating establishments will exceed the 30-minute timeframe
Physical requirements
Personnel must be able to stand, kneel and sit for prolonged periods of time, lift items less than 50lbs and work with cutout materials such as razor knives.
