To design and develop frontend Web applications on embedded Linux web server

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform requirements analysis, design, implementation, and test of software solutions.

• Implementation of feature requests, successfully merging the new design into the existing architecture.

• As part of the development process, follows engineering processes, practices, and procedures.

• Report progress and status to project management.

• Perform rough estimates of time required to resolve issues, helping with task prioritization process.

• Resolution of problems reported from the field; including bug fixes, design corrections, and complex architectural modifications.

• Flexible on-site/remote work schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in embedded software development.

• Highly proficient in front end web development using Angular, Javascript, and Node.JS.

• Advanced english knowledge;

• Experience in developing modern web applications, with proven knowledge of CSS and implementation of UI designs from a design product.

• Experience in revision control (git).

• Experience in using 3rd party API's (REST, etc.) and related authentication schemes

• Experience with common client frameworks and libraries such as React and Solid.

• Formal software design principles and development processes.

• Scrum Master and/or Agile SW Development knowledge

• Knowledge of communications theory, RF, and modulation techniques is desirable.

• Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Micrium...) (desired)

• Experience with JIRA / Confluence

Desired Characteristics

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably BSEE, BSCE (Computer Engineering), or BSSE (Software Engineering)
