THE WORK

  • Ensure the development teams are practicing the core Agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and visibility.

  • Facilitating the Scrum ceremonies that includes Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective, Daily Scrum and Sprint Reviews.

  • Sprint Sizing: Coaching the team to understand Velocity, Burndown, Sprint Sizing so the teams do not overcommit and underdeliver.

  • Partner with Tech Lead to understand the Technical Debt and Production Readiness items that includes Database enablers and work with them to create stories that are within the norms of the Change management team.

  • Assist the RTE towards the preparation of the PI Event and follow up with the Product Owners towards the completion and readiness of the Product Vision document for the event.

  • Work closely with the Business Analysts to ensure the New Epics and Stories were created and updated according to the Business priority for each quarter before the deadline provided. Hence maintaining the healthy Backlog.

  • Lead and Facilitate Scrum of Scrum meetings with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure that the work is aligned and track the progress and ensure the delivery was as expected.

  • Attend Product Owner sync-up’s with the Product Owners and Business Analysts to ensure all the required items for discussions were brought up for discussion, notes were updated in Jira diligently from the outcome of those discussions

  • Work with multiple Product Owners and help with managing the Product Backlog.

  • Facilitate the Scoping and Pre-Refinement meetings weekly with the Product Owner and the Tech Lead to ensure that the work was prioritized in the right order and included the Tech Debt and Production Support items.

  • In charge of the entire Release process working with the Change management and ERFT teams to ensure that the team is following the process starting from the Epic/story creation to the Production Release Cycle.

Here's What You Need:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master

  • High School Diploma or GED

Bonus Points, if:

  • Experience with Defect Tracking Tools like JIRA, HP QC-Quality Center

  • Experience with Tools like SharePoint, MS Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint, Confluence

  • Experience with the following technologies: PEGA, Oracle, Java, Angular, FileNet

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
