Job Description

The National Training Manager (NTM) supports the Psychiatry Associate Training Director in the design and delivery of training solutions for the customer-facing Account Executives and New Hires. The NTM ensures both Training & Development and Brand Strategy are effectively represented in all training programs and solutions. This role is accountable to quickly build relationships with and manage several key stakeholders at various levels. The role requires a high level of performance coaching, strategy alignment/execution, and application of training fundamentals to enhance performance learning of participants.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, submission of training materials through the Medical/Legal/Regulatory/Compliance process to ensure all materials are up to date, reflect current strategic imperatives, and are approved

  • Manage agendas and learning curriculum within digital learning platforms in partnership with the training team, digital learning team, and Psychiatry Training Associate Director to ensure agendas, content, and curriculum within digital platforms are current for all training classes

  • Designs, develops, and delivers compliant learning solutions that increases effectiveness and credibility of participants for the Psychiatry franchise

  • Build trust and credibility with key stakeholders through regular interaction, evidenced by feedback and proven working partnerships

  • Leverages existing Learning & Development core platforms and content within the specific Franchise/Brand training products, to limit duplicative efforts

  • Demonstrates direct and open communication to key stakeholders resulting in positive relationships and mutual alignment

  • Provides candid and specific verbal & written feedback to training participants resulting in their awareness of strengths and developmental opportunities including a plan for improved performance

  • Provides coaching and feedback to National Field Trainers (NFT) across the organization to help their development and accelerate performance.

  • Recognizes the skill level of training participants and adjusts coaching and training techniques to meet the needs of individuals

  • Demonstrates and applies knowledge of all stakeholder businesses, strategies and priorities and integrates training activities into brand team business plans

  • Leads cross-functional initiatives and may be responsible for additional special projects within training organization

  • Recognized as a product and disease-state expert across all promoted disease states

  • Design customized, franchise specific onboarding plan. Assists with the on-boarding, development, and mentorship of other NFTs and “leads through teamwork” cultivating and maintaining positive peer-to-peer relationships

  • Assist the Associate Training Director in the development and execution of training workshops for National Meetings across the entire Psychiatry franchise

  • Executes strategy and tactics with little guidance and/or direction from senior leadership

  • Supports professional development of NFTs through individual coaching and leadership programs

  • Integrated strategic partner with brand teams by attending Internal Business Meetings, Sales Marketing and Training Meetings, and other brand sponsored initiatives

  • Support the Associate Training Director in the development and execution of the Strategic Training Plan for Psychiatry

  • Recruits and develops representatives to become the next National Field Trainer

  • Co – Lead our Challenger Training for internal new hire training

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree preferred

  • 5+ years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of training experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Highly preferred in Psychiatry

  • Prior experience leading complex projects in a home office environment

  • High performing track record and strong understanding of what drives success in a commercial organization

  • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of individuals at all levels of management to develop partnerships and align training with the business strategy

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​

Salary: $103,500 - $197,000
