Schlumberger Production Manager in Florence, United States

Schlumberger Technology Corporation seeks a Production Manager to work in Florence, KY.

JOB DUTIES: The Production Manager is responsible for managing production for a particular department or group within the Manufacturing organization. The Production Manager organizes, plans, and executes schedules, supervises employees, and oversees training, staffing and resource utilization.

· Plan, schedule, design and assign work for employees. Monitor daily work schedules.

· Manage staffing requirements to meet production demands. Provide feedback to Product Line management.

· Provide equipment and supplies needed to ensure efficient, safe, and orderly work progress.

· Participate in CAPEX projects.

· Monitor routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

· Enable proper training for employees.

· Identify improvement opportunities; implement LEAN principles.

· Monitor and enforce manufacturing, quality, health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards. Implement and monitor key performance indicators for Production, Quality and HSE teams.

· Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years’ experience with supply chain, design engineering, maintenance, injection molding, fixture design, thermal screen stretching, production release process, HSE and facility 5S standards
