Position: Senior Materials Manager

Salary: $155,000/YR

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM (must be flexible)

Duration: Permanent position with full benefits

What’s a typical day as a Senior Materials Manager? You’ll be:

• Collaborating with other managers to determine supply needs

• Purchasing supplies and materials according to specifications

• Coordinating and supervising receiving and warehousing procedures

• Overseeing distribution of supplies in the organization

• Controlling inventory levels and ensuring availability of material during emergencies

• Supervising, evaluating, and coaching subordinates

• Maintaining relationships with our internal supply chain staff

• Keeping detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications, etc.

• Assisting in forecasting to plan future orders

• Supporting production control functions for seamless scheduling and production planning

• Evaluating and amending purchasing strategy in collaboration with Director of Operation and new/current trends

• Constantly reviewing processes and purchase orders

• Supervising records maintenance

• Supervising scheduled deliveries and timely fulfillment of orders

• Developing and maintaining a strong relationship with Supplier Quality

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have proven experience as a materials manager

• Have experience in shipping and receiving

• Are familiar with supply chain and inventory management systems

• Have an understanding of forecasting and budgeting

• Have proficient computer skills and are willing to stay up to date on new technological trends, advancements, and software

• Have excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Are a proven problem-solver, collaborator, mentor, and trainer

• Have a BSc/BA in logistics or relevant field; or 5+ years of leadership experience
