The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $30.61 – $43.21. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position responsibilities, location, terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, education, training, work experience, seniority, work performance, etc.

Job Summary

Under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, the COTA assists in carrying out the treatment plan for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric with musculo-skeletal, neurological, and/or medical diagnoses.

Details of position:

• Treat assigned patients following an established treatment plan and goals as established by an Occupational Therapist. Completes patient treatment according to plan of care, modifies plan to meet patients needs within established goals.

• Maintains appropriate clinical & billing records.

• Assists in the orientation/training of new caregivers.

• Makes recommendations relative to the acquisition of new equipment & environment of care needs.

• Coordinates patient care activities with other members of the healthcare team.

• Actively participates in interdisciplinary patient care rounds.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• Accredited Program Required: Occupational Therapist Assistant.

• Required: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in State of Oregon

• Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support that has been issued through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
