We are looking for a talented student to join our team for our School To Work , Supply Chain in Florence, KY.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

The Cummins-Meritor Cooperative Education Student who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply chain or business management. The primary role of the Supply Chain school-to-work is to provide administrative support to the global supply chain team, which consists of both planners and analysts. The student will, at the same time, gain real world experience and education in the field of material management and data analytics in a business-to-business environment.

  • Develop global supply chain databases using Microsoft Access and Excel.

  • Design supply chain information queries using database tools.

  • Data gathering with sites in USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Europe, Australia, India and China.

  • Develop training documentation.

  • Semester project to be determined with supervisor.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools preferred.

  • Ability to learn on the job in a dynamic environment while balancing multiple priorities.

  • Ability to work independently and within teams as needed.

  • Demonstrates written and oral communication skills, including presentation creation.

  • Strong teamwork and ability to interact with all levels of the organizations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

Education, Licenses, Certification

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Operations Management, Business Administration.

  • Post-Secondary:

  • Must carry a minimum of 12 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters.

  • Must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
