Manages operations of a Dairy Queen franchise; works with prescribed policies and practices; ensures compliance with standards for customer relations, food costs, safety, sanitation, merchandising, and product preparation; creates weekly work schedule for store personnel and delegates work to ensure business needs are met; performs opening and closing duties; engages in customer care duties, including greeting customers, providing prompt and helpful service, and handling customer complaints; completes daily cash management functions and assures completion of all Point of Sale (POS) transactions; prepares cash reports, makes daily bank deposits, and get change as needed; fills out temperature logs; ensures strategic goals and sales targets of the store are met by maximizing sales and gross profits, reviewing and forecasting sales performance, controlling expenses, and managing inventory; and performs administrative tasks, including the timely submission of all personnel paperwork, preparing and submitting reports, and monitoring sales receipts and cash. Must have two (2) years post-secondary education. Must have six (6) months of experience in the job offered or as an Assistant Manager.
