Job Title: Machine Operator

1st & 3rd Shift - $19.75/hr - 21/hr - 12 hours

Job Description:

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of a single piece of manufacturing equipment with simple functions. You will set up and pre-run the equipment to ensure proper production start-up, control line speeds, batch formulas, and production rates. Additionally, you will conduct various quality checks, complete required paperwork, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards of conduct.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a single piece of manufacturing equipment with simple functions.

• Set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper production start-up.

• Control line speeds, batch formulas, production rates, and starting and stopping equipment.

• Ensure overall product elegance and safety.

• Conduct various quality checks.

• Complete required paperwork, including downtime logs, HACCP, and safety operation records.

• Conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates conduct themselves in alignment with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and standards of conduct.

Essential Skills:

• Ability to operate multiple machines safely with minimal supervision.

• Proficient communication and reasoning skills to relay information to co-workers and management.

• 0-1 year of related experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with production, machine operation, inspection, assembly, packaging, blueprint reading, hand tools, and tape measures.

Work Environment:

This is a food manufacturing environment, primarily cold at around 40 degrees, as the company produces frozen pizzas. The bakery area may be warmer, but overall, expect a cold work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $21.25/hr.
