Job Description

This position is with Bosch Automotive Steering, within the Human Resources department. This position will provide meaningful hands-on work experience in related field of study. Get a chance to leave your mark on Bosch processes and learn about how Bosch is striving to be on the edge of technology and become a part of the transformation. In this role, you’ll be given projects and the freedom to propose your own suggestions and run with them and learn about how people interact with digitalization and automation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include but not limited to the following

  • Opportunity to observe and participate in several facets of a business environment

  • Will be involved in supporting plant-wide and cross-functional projects

  • Support the day-to-day function of Human resources and search for opportunities for automation/process optimization

  • Administrative Maintenance – payroll, attendance, internal job application processing

  • Analyze current internal application data patterns, implement test changes, and report data findings to identify areas for additional improvement, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) measures.

  • Supporting the implementation of the Bosch communication concepts on IoT, automation and digitalization tools, etc.

  • Assisting in the development of creative marketing and training activities

  • Coordinating with internal and external agencies to create dashboards and automated outputs.

Developing content for all communication channels (newsletter, plant-wide emails, projects, internal social media platform)

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Qualified candidates will have at least sophomore status in a Bachelors or Masters degree program, preferably Industrial Management, Computer Science or Business Analytics related

Qualifications/Competency:

  • Minimum 3.00 overall GPA

  • Skills in Microsoft Office, (Word, Power Point and Excel) – prefer Excel Macro experience

  • Organized, proactive, self-starter

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred but not required

  • Preferred experience with process optimization/automation and data analytics/visualization

  • i.e., Power BI / Tableau, R, etc.
