The Solution Engineer role offers a unique opportunity to contribute your talents and experience to a growing team. Every day will be different, working on a diverse range of projects, technologies, and customers ensuring that the design and implementation of a product are aligned with enterprise guidelines, standards, and validated approaches.

As a Solution Engineer, you will work with solution architects and project managers to design, develop, and implement solutions for our customers using our products and services. You will also collaborate with deployment managers, and other Solution Engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs and expectations.

You will supply technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams throughout the project's lifecycle. In this role, you will focus on customer use cases and processes, analysis workshops, business process optimizations, and building configured management systems and integrations using Esko software.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Assist the Senior Solution Architect in conducting evaluations, workshops, and designs of the Esko enterprise software implementations

  • Implement and integrate software systems accordingly

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise

  • Document and maintain the procedures, processes, and designs of the solutions

  • Stay current in learning technologies and tools to improve solutioning

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Takes ownership of assigned tasks and sees tasks through to the end with quality

  • Comes with an open mind and is ready and willing to learn from peers, project managers, managers, cross-functional teams, and others in the organization

  • Background in computer science, general knowledge of software programming, development, and deployment practices

  • 1+years' relevant experience in areas such as:

  • Business process or asset management technology, ideally in a marketing or packaging domain

  • Software and/or services to consumer goods, pharmaceutical, or retail

  • Software user training (e.g., workflow building, system configuration, system administration, developing key users up to a professional / specialist level)

  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages appreciated

  • Experience and knowledge of Esko products and services, is a plus

  • Willingness to travel approximately 25-40% of your time normally
