The RTC Real Time Control (RTC) Remote Monitoring and Application Specialist contributes to the commercial growth of the current and future RTC portfolio by delivering application oriented RTC pre-sales and post-sales support. He/She needs to closely partner with RTC Product Management, HACH Research and Development (R&D) and Third-Party software suppliers to continuously improve and expand the RTC product range. The position is located in Düsseldorf or remote.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Pre-sales application and commercial support for HACH RTC specialists on Real Time Control (RTC) solutions.

  • Providing RTC monitoring services, including commissioning and optimization activities and regular monitoring of EMEA customer sites.

  • Drive awareness and provide technical support and training on new RTC modules and features for sales specialist, industrial sales and key account team.

  • Define new RTC modules and features in alignment with Product Manager, Sales and Marketing and develop those to software specifications, meeting customer requirements and ensuring cost effective implementation.

  • Drive New Product Development Funnel and Maintenance Funnel projects with Third Party software supplier meeting HACH Software development standards.

  • Act as negotiator for defect resolution in Maintenance Funnel meetings with Third-Party Software supplier

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • BS or BA in Engineering, Computer Science, or the Sciences.

  • 5 years of application experience in instrumentation and control of municipal and/or industrial water treatment.

  • Fluent English. Italian, Spanish or French desirable

  • Willingness to travel up to 10 days per month.

  • Ability to communicate problems and priorities to stakeholders with diverse technical backgrounds.
