Rocky Gap Casino Manager - Financial Planning in Flintstone, Maryland
Responsible for coordinating, managing, and implementing all functions pertaining to analytics for departmental actual and budgeted financial, labor, hotel, food and beverage, and marketing data, in addition to development of forecasting models, in accordance with the established policies, procedures and controls, while maintaining the strictest level of confidence.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews the preparation, distribution, and analysis of various daily, weekly and monthly financial, and labor assigned.
- Reviews month-end profit and loss statements,
- Prepares statistical reports and variance analysis for accuracy.
- Prepares and maintains weekly forecast
- Reviews marketing promotion submissions and prepares post event analysis
- Participates in monthly financial statement review.
- Works with department heads and General Manager to prepare review of budgets for all departments, ensuring the integrity and consistency of all financial data produced.
- Communicates with the Finance Department in an effort to ensure consistency in procedures between the Planning and Analysis and the Finance Departments.
- Reviews departmental reports, addressing potential conflicts, and/or misinformation.
- Formulates, administers and enforces departmental policies and performance standards.
- Ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction throughout the property is achieved.
- Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
- All other duties as assigned.
REPORTING LINE
In the organizational chart, thePlanning and AnalysisManager directly reports to the General Manager.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
- The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in business administration or related area from a four-year college or university. Two to three years of related experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for prolonged periods of time. Ability to push, pull, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crawl, twist, sit, climb, balance, carry and lift to 50 lbs. Constant use of hearing, speech, vision (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception), radios, and tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Essential duties involve mainly working in an office environment and occasionally working on a live casino floor.
