We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Special Projects Coordinator to join our team at WSMH in Flint, MI. The Special Projects Coordinator is part of our Agile Creative Content Engagement Team (ACCET) . In this dynamic role, you’ll plan and execute station community events, sales initiatives, and contests, all while contributing to content creation efforts for our station's branding and community outreach. Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution: Plan and coordinate community events, sales initiatives, and promotional contests from start to finish.

• Organizational Excellence: Handle logistics, timelines, and communication to ensure seamless execution.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with marketing, social media, and other departments to bring ideas to life and optimize event impact.

Bonus Responsibilities (Content Creation):

• Content Development: Produce creative, engaging content that aligns with our station’s branding and community outreach efforts.

• Creative Writing: Write compelling copy for promos, image campaigns, and other promotional materials.

• Content Creation: Create, conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit high-quality content for various platforms.

• Collaborative Production: Work closely with marketing and social media teams to ensure content is optimized for maximum reach and engagement.

• Media Asset Creation: Actively participate in the creation of videos and other media assets related to special projects.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Flexibility to adjust working hours based on event schedules.

• Creative mindset with an eye for detail (especially in content creation).
