As an Advance Local Photo Intern with MLive , you will be part of a dynamic and inclusive newsroom team focused on local journalism for one of the country’s largest privately owned media companies. The photo internship will start in January 2025 and last six months. This 40-hour a week internship is paid. Interns are also reimbursed for mileage. Project work is encouraged. Video and multimedia experience are a plus. Some writing will be required.
Interns are provided a MacBook Pro with Adobe suite applications. There is also access to Nikon pool equipment. Interns are responsible for pitching stories, photo galleries, creating posts and video work.
A successful candidate will be able to cover general assignments in-person. This job requires reliable transportation to meet with sources or cover events.
