Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the healthcare industry, based in Flint, Michigan, for an IT Manager. The role will involve managing network infrastructure, network security, system administration, and coordinating projects in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of Infrastructure and Operations Support

• Implement and manage best practices following ITIL guidelines

• Coordinate and manage technical projects, identifying risks and issues

• Develop and maintain infrastructure design and inventory/asset management

• Oversee and coordinate the installation and deployment of new software/hardware

• Manage and support endpoint security and access management

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including Windows servers and networking equipment

• Oversee vendor coordination, support, and management

• Engage with stakeholders on projects, process improvement, automation, and various other activities

• Lead a technical team, providing support and guidance to team members.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in an IT management role

• Proven expertise in cloud technologies and Microsoft Azure.

• Proficiency in Active Directory and system administration.

• Demonstrable experience with backup technologies and configuration management.

• Strong knowledge of network security, network troubleshooting, and endpoint security.

• Experience with ITIL - IT Infrastructure Library. Experience with EPIC or Cerner.

• Experience with firewall management.

• Proficiency in MS Office 365.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Travel to other locations weekly, on an as needed basis.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

• Relevant certifications in IT fields and experience supporting healthcare/hospital environments required.
