Job Title: Excavator Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to handle large excavation and site preparation projects. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a range of excavators from mini and midi (1-10 tons) to large Crawler Excavators (10-45 tons) and large Excavators (45 tons).
Responsibilities
Operate large Excavators (45 Tons)
Operate Crawler Excavators (10-45 Tons)
Operate Mini and Midi Excavators (1-10 tons)
Perform excavation and site prep projects
Conduct fine grading using an excavator
Execute pull grading using an excavator
Swap out attachments and buckets as needed
Essential Skills
Experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment
Proficiency in fine grading and pull grading
Knowledge of excavation and site preparation
Ability to build retaining walls and prep sites for similar projects
Experience with large scale retaining wall projects and MSE walls
Familiarity with pedestal patio paver projects
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in large scale commercial and municipal projects

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flint, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
