Curbco is seeking a full-time experienced CONTROLLER to join our team.

Position Summary:

Oversight of entire company operations & systems. Manage and supervise all aspects of accounting from payroll to tax compliance. Responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial data to make informed financial decisions. Accountable for the accounting operations of the company, including the production of financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records.

Responsibilities for this position will include the following:

  • Collecting and consolidating financial data for multiple companies
  • Supervising accounting and finance departments
  • Creating strategic plans for financial operations
  • Preparing internal and external financial statements
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations
  • Coordinating external auditor activities
  • Providing company leaders with insights for decision-making purposes
  • Managing budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Coordinate procurement activities
  • Establish and maintain financial controls
  • Assess and improve accounting procedures
  • Identify, develop, and monitor KPIs
  • Manage regulatory reporting
  • Screen, hire, train, and retain accounting department employees

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' applicable experience
  • Must be highly proficient using Microsoft Office specifically Excel
  • High proficiency using QuickBooks
  • Certifications while not required, are a plus - CPA, CFA, CTP
