DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Managing Complexity : You should be able to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. This involves critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Health and Safety Fundamentals : Championing and modeling proactive health and safety behaviors is crucial. This includes identifying, reporting, and participating in actions to improve health and safety, contributing to an interdependent culture, and aiming for an injury-free workplace.

  • Controls Safety : Recognizing control-related hazards in a manufacturing environment (Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic) and incorporating safe practices and procedures as part of the daily work plan is essential. This will help reduce injuries and create a safe machine environment.

  • Manufacturing Knowledge : Demonstrating knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function’s needs and contribute towards continuous improvement is key. This requires a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and a willingness to learn and adapt.

  • Tool and Fixture Design : Selecting work-piece-holding devices capable of effectively holding parts and products during a manufacturing process to secure their position is important. This involves understanding the requirements of the manufacturing process and the ability to design and select appropriate tools and fixtures.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
