Robert Half Financial Analyst in Fishers, Indiana

Description

We are in search of a Financial Analyst to become an integral part of our client's finance team based in Fishers, Indiana. As a Financial Analyst, you will be charged with the responsibility of managing financial reporting, reconciling accounts, and maintaining the. This role is an opportunity to utilize your skills in data mining, budget processes, account analysis, sales and receivables analysis and financial analysis within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and audit store sales and commissions on a daily basis

• Take charge of financial reporting tasks, including the preparation of financial statements, monthly reporting packages, and budget performance

• Oversee the closing of financial books on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Prepare and submit manual journal entries in accordance with US GAAP and internal controls

• Carry out monthly projections of certain income statement accounts on a weekly basis

• Provide support for both internal and external audits as and when required

• Ensure alignment of Varicent Configuration with current Franchise Agreement

• Act as backup Finance Manager for Varicent System Administration

• Work closely with other teams, facilitating communication and resolution of issues

• Respond to service now tickets within 24 hours and ensure closure within 7 days.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Financial Analyst role or similar.

• Proficiency in Data Mining Techniques to extract and analyze data from different perspectives.

• Solid understanding and experience in Budget Processes, including planning, management, and review.

• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR), including recording payments and tracking outstanding balances.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive Account Analysis to provide financial insights and recommendations.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency in Ad Hoc Financial Analysis, with the ability to deliver quick and accurate results in response to specific inquiries.

• Expertise in Financial Analysis, including forecasting, variance analysis, and creating financial models.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and complex formulas.

• Experience with Dynamics, including managing financial transactions and reporting.

• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including its financial management and business operations functionalities.
