  1. Purpose of positionThe purpose of the position is the management of RS Programs, from their inception until conclusion.The role is tasked to support the RS business and the generation of Operating Profit (OP) in the European organization, through the flawless execution of RS programs.   • The role holds accountability for the coordination and success (time and scope,) of the assigned RS APD programs: from their early phases (MS1 preparation till MS2b) to their approval and launch (passed MS2b, until MS4 completed).

  • The accountability covers the whole programs life span, from the collection and formalization of requirements till the program conclusion and customer acceptance of the agreed deliveries, requiring and orchestrating other functions services and deliverables while challenging them for efficiency stretches and continuous improvement.

  • The function actively provides transparent and regular reporting to the European RS Management, internal stakeholders and Customers, implementing and making use of corporate tools and best practices (APD, Daily Management, PSP).

  • The role at the same time challenges the regional sales functions and provides them support for RS commercial activities with customers, tenders, preparation of business cases, connecting CRM opportunities to APD programs as well as giving assistance and support for RS sales reviews and sales forecasting.

Sales Admin

  • Provide assistance to process regions orders (for trade sales) about RS

  • Assistance for anything that relates to the import/export of goods needed for a given program or sale

Regional Sales

  • Program plans with recurrent updates and highlights

  • Product Requirement Specifications (PRS) to attach to contracts/offers

  • Support both internally and with the customer to to prepare MS0/MS1 phases to arrive to pass MS2a

  • Support to prepare MS0/MS1 phases to arrive to pass MS2a (internal)

  • Regular programs reporting to KAMs and SDs

  • Existing contracts

  • Changes in priorities

  • Relevant customer meetings reports

  1. Key Responsibilities

The Program Manager ensures the success of RS programs holding the following key responsibilities:

  1. Contributes to build and Sustains a consistent Standard Work (SW) and Daily management (DM) for programs management

  2. Consistently and transparently communicates and reports to other functions, customers and stakeholders, promptly escalating to RS management in case of programs criticalities.

  3. Holds accountability for assigned APD programs launch and execution, from the preparation to approach MS1 until MS4 included:

  4. Develops RACI matrixes and runs risk assessment & mitigation plans

  5. Validates the business cases prepared by/with Sales teams, by getting MS1 cost estimates by involved functions

  6. Ensures that customers’ requirements are collected, formalized and approved through lean till comprehensive Product Requirement Specifications (PRS)

  7. Keeps alignment with MKT and ENG to maximize solutions reusability and ensure feasibility

  8. Ensures that relevant programs and project plans are developed and cascades top-down objectives to other functions gaining commitments to relevant milestones, negotiating where room for, or escalating to RS management where incompatible.

  9. Actively drives recurrent program reviews, both with internal functions and with Customers, highlighting deviations and risks, coordinating countermeasures.

  10. Acts the internal references for other functions during the programs duration and receiving inputs after the release to feed the Customer Defects Tracking and Recognition (CDT&R) process.

  11. Supports Sales in redirecting new customers’ requests into managed Change Requests of running programs or into the launch of new programs.

  12. Supports the RS Program Management team in prioritizing Customer Led Opportunity (CLO) programs.
