Emerson Field Service Engineer in FIORENZUOLA D'ARDA, Italy

As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for delivering technical service, such as commissioning, maintenance, diagnostics and trainings at customer sites, in full compliance with the highest safety standards.

Working in close partnership with the Field Service Manager, you will contribute to represent the company public image, as so precision, situation adaptability and excellent communication skills are required. As a key point of contact for assistance, you will provide technical support to customers, either on-site or remotely, by meeting their needs at best.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Following environmental, health and safety policies and law requirements all the time while performing your tasks.

  • Performing service on client’s site, such as technical placement, calibration operations, damage analysis and repair, maintenance, product inspection. After each operation, you will prepare a complete report of the service intervention.

  • Supporting production workforce in Fiorenzuola plant when needed, providing service activities on customer returns.

  • Delivering training activities for customers and any other required Emerson employee.

  • Joining clients’ meetings on-site and play an active role with remote service activities, providing technical solutions to their issues and improving further business opportunities.

  • Actively participating at safety meetings.

You are a reliable professional, able to adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse collaborators and delivering plans in order to achieve the desired outcomes and customers’ satisfaction.

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • Technical Diploma

  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric/electronic technical drawings, as well as technical components.

  • Professional use of technical service intervention tools(Multimeter, Power Supply Module, Oscilloscope etc.)

  • English proficiency, both written and spoken.

  • Intermediate Office Suite user, in particular Excel and Outlook.

  • At least one year of experience in a similar role (e.g. Field Service in Oil&Gas sector)

  • Flexible to travel off-site on a regular basis.

  • High problem-solving attitude and service skills.

  • Customer focus and good interpersonal communication skills (face to face, virtual meetings, written forms, i.e.: service/diagnostic reports).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical area will be considered a plus.

  • Additional language knowledge is highly appreciated.

  • Validated experience in customer service roles.
