Opportunity 1 (32 hours per week with 80% benefits): Oversee and analyze monthly financial reports needed to keep the Board of Directors informed of the district's financial position and to ensure budgets are met. Oversee the Office Manager, including selecting, training, supervising and evaluating employee performance. Work with the Board of Directors, auditors and ND agencies to identify and solve district financial issues. Interact with customers to solve issues and to manage delinquent accounts. Establish Dakota Rural Water District as a good community citizen and valued resource.

Opportunity 2 (40 hours per week with 100% benefits) - includes all items above for Opportunity 1 plus the following: Oversee and provide support to Field Operators. Field work may include entering confined spaces including meter pits to replace and repair meters and service lines. Work to maintain the district's water reservoirs and take water samples for the ND State Health Department. Is part of on call rotation to respond to water breaks and leaks.

Requires an Associate's Degree, High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant work experience. Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record throughout the duration of employment. Must earn a Class II Water Treatment/Water Distribution Certification from the ND State Health Department within 3 years of employment (this is paid by the district).
