The University of Findlay RECORDS AND GIFT PROCESSING SPECIALIST in Findlay, Ohio

The University of Findlay (www.findlay.edu{rel="nofollow"}) is seeking a full-time Records and Gift Processing Specialist, responsible for the entry and maintenance of constituent records and the proper coding, recording and processing of all charitable donations including cash, stocks, pledges, gifts-in-kind and deferred gifts in the Raiser's Edge database in an accurate and timely manner; producing gift receipts, acknowledgment and stewardship letters; posting to the general ledger; running gift reports, monthly pledge reminders, creating and updating biographical data for donors, prospects, corporations and foundations; maintaining data integrity and adding new data to the database.

 

An associates degree, with 18 months of work experience, preferably in an advancement office, or similar relational database environment such as banking or healthcare records is required. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); solid working knowledge of relational database architecture, and ability to handle highly confidential information. Preference given to candidates with additional years of work experience, preferably in an advancement office, or similar relational database environment such as banking or healthcare records, and experience with The Raiser's Edge. No travel is expected for this position.
