Valgroup is hiring an *R & D Product Engineer (Entry-Level)  *to support our plastics manufacturing facility in Findlay, Ohio.

*Department: *R & D

*Reports To: *Production Manager 

*Shift/Schedule: *Daytime M-F

 

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

- - Reverse engineering for new product lines - Tracking metrics and reporting - Identify process improvements for existing products  - Monitoring production trials - Lab testing analysis  - Develop programs and methods for product engineering - Product formulation cost, Bill of Materials, and product (finished goods) part number creations in the ERP database - Customer communication   - Work in Cross-functional teams

**JOB REQUIREMENTS:** - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Manufacturing, Material Science, Polymer)  - Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred - Computer knowledge and ability to use Microsoft programs and SAP/ERP - Read, analyze, and interpret data and information - Strong communication and analytical skills as well as problem-solving and critical thinking
