About GKN Automotive Hungary

It’s an exciting time to join GKN Automotive in Hungary. In 2023, we launched a brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Miskolc, equipped with assembly lines and office accommodations. This facility is a critical hub for GKN Automotive’s driveline technology, supplying our global customer base with industry-leading solutions. Role Overview

As a Financial Analyst / Business Controller, you will be integral to GKN Automotive’s financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions, supporting strategic decision-making and driving process improvements across our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Forecasting : Contribute to financial planning cycles, preparing accurate forecasts to guide business strategy.

• Cost Analysis & Budgeting : Perform detailed cost analyses, cost calculations, and contribute to the annual budget to ensure comprehensive financial oversight.

• Financial Closures & Reporting : Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures. Prepare and analyze regular and ad hoc financial reports and KPIs to support business goals.

• Decision Support : Provide management with reliable, data-driven insights and statements that inform strategic decision-making.

• ERP Development & Reporting : Support the ongoing enhancement of the ERP system, creating and refining financial reports for improved data accessibility.

• Process Improvement : Engage in refining company processes and propose ideas for increased efficiency and effectiveness across financial functions.

Qualifications & Skills needed to succeed in this role:

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field

• Experience : 3-5 years in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment

• Language Skills : Proficient in both English and Hungarian, with strong written and verbal communication skills

• Skills : Collaborative, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
