Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Federal Way, Washington

Description

We are working with a company looking for a permanent Full Charge Bookkeeper to join the team in Federal Way, Washington. This role is integral to the company's operations, requiring the management of financial records, processing of invoices and payments, and compliance with relevant regulations. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day accounting and support in the financial decision making of the organization. This position offers an ultra-flexible hybrid schedule, with 4 work-from-home days and 1 day in-office in Federal Way, WA. Apply today!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of invoices, payments, and payroll.

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Work closely with external accountants to assist in tax preparation.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to the financial sector.

• Reconcile bank statements regularly and monitor cash flow to maintain financial stability.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide clear insights into the company's financial status.

• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from management and clients regarding financial matters.

• Provide support in financial analysis and decision-making to aid strategic planning.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth running of accounting functions.

• Use accounting software, such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, to manage financial data and create reports.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $50,000-$70,000 annually. Benefits offered with this position include fully-funded MDV insurance, Unlimited PTO, paid holidays, participation in the company's 401k with a 3% match, and a flexible hybrid schedule.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Thorough knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to prepare an Annual Budget

• Experience in Cash Flow Analysis

• Understanding of Accrual Accounting

• Ability to create Journal Entries and Adjusting Journal Entries

• Familiarity with General Ledger

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Must be able to work independently and with a team.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to handle confidential information.
