Eaton Corporation Aftermarket Sales Specialist in Fayetteville, North Carolina

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking an Aftermarket Sales Specialist. We are able to offer relocation assistance for candidates to work out of Fayetteville, NC or Houston, TX.

The Aftermarket Sales Specialist will support sales force and customers on MCC Aftermarket project negotiations. Responsibilities to include interpretation of project plans and specifications, product application, configuration of product, technical support, proposal preparation, lead time information, and pricing authority managed to price bands as determined by manager. Meet or exceed orders volume and price objectives by product line and market segment as determined by manager in accordance with historical performance and available market data for assigned region(s). Additionally you'll review customer needs and specifications in order to determine the minimum bill of material, most competitive price level, and shipment cycle within the market segment pertaining to each specific negotiation. Interpret incoming product line quotations for project desirability factor, proper product content, and list price. Recommend modifications to bill of material to meet customer specification and improve Eaton’s competitive position as needed.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

  • Review incoming customer requests for MCC Aftermarket support and quotations. Interpret customer specifications and schematics to configure Bills of Material in Bid Manager.

  • Provide quotations for MCC Aftermarket buckets and parts that are aligned with MCC product line pricing and volume goals.

  • Collaborate with front end engineering as needed to ensure that quotations are technically accurate and meet customers’ requirements.

  • Interface with field sales, distributors, and customers as needed to determine ideal solutions to MCC Aftermarket needs and challenges.

  • Negotiate with field sales/customers to obtain highest price levels for service and product features offered.

  • Must be a good time manager with strong communication skills.

  • Must be able to handle difficult conversations tactfully.

  • Act as a technical resource for the MCC product line.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.

  • At least 1 year of technical experience with power distribution and/or control equipment applications.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the electrical industry

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Skills:

  • Drive for execution, attention to detail, time management and proficiency in quotation/negotiation skills.

  • Communicate on a professional level, both verbally and written, with customers and intercompany personnel is essential.

  • Decision making ability to quickly comprehend the core issues of business, fiscal, and customer needs to reach clear objectives and the path to achieve them.
