The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Poultry Production and Product Safety Research Unit in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is seeking a POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE for a TWO-YEAR APPOINTMENT. Ph.D. within the past four years is required. The position is a GS 11; salary is commensurate with experience, starting at \$72,553, plus benefits. Citizenship restrictions apply. The incumbent will measure ammonia and greenhouse gas emissions from animal rearing facilities and fields fertilized with animal manure. Incumbent will also test an indoor air scrubber for removing ammonia, dust and pathogens from air inside animal rearing facilities. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Animal Science, Environmental Science, Poultry Science, Soil Science or a closely related field.
