Our client in Farwell, MI, is a global automotive technology leader in seating and E-Systems. Here's your chance to work with them as an entry-level Assembler! No previous experience is required, and there's an opportunity for this temp-to-hire position to become full-time after 60 days.
As an Assembler, you will perform tasks to assemble seats, mainly for the automotive industry. This is a terrific role for someone who enjoys working with their hands and likes to perform repetitive tasks.
There are various assembly lines in this location, which means your job could entail any of the following line tasks:
Inserting components into molds
Stretching material and de-wrinkling it with steam
Using tools to thread wiring harnesses
Assembling side pieces and snapping them into place
Waxing molds
Removing debris from molds for the next foam pour
Trimming
Preparing, packing, and labeling of product for shipment
Regardless of the duty you are given as an Assembler, you will be responsible for informing your supervisor or line technician of any problems you encounter as you work.

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
Position requires employee to be able to stand for entire shift of work; Involves walking, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, lifting frequently, with occasional crouching
Must be available all shifts:
1st shift (6:00am - 2:30pm)
2nd shift (2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.)
3rd shift (10:00 p.m. - 6 a.m.)
All shifts are Monday - Friday with overtime on the weekend as needed.

Pay Details: $15.75 to $16.50 per hour
