UPMC Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Farrell, Pennsylvania

Provides a quality Speech Language Pathology program to clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Achieves and maintains productivity standards set by the facility.

  2. Prepares necessary time records.

  3. Maintains compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies' requirements (OSHA, TJC, CMS).

  4. Pursues professional growth and development, presents in-service and educational programs.

  5. Performs job responsibilities in line with the organization's mission.

  6. Maintains accurate progress notes and professional records for speech pathology services.

  7. Adheres to organizational policies, including Corporate Compliance and HIPAA regulations.

  8. Provides appropriate speech pathology treatments and diagnostic services.

  9. Compiles and reports accurate data for financial, statistical, and administrative needs.

  10. Coordinates evaluation, scheduling, and treatment programs for clients, maintaining a positive attitude and excellent customer service.

  • MS, MEd or MA in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Must possess knowledge and skills required to provide quality customer service.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competency) or meet the educational requirements for certification and be in the process of completing his or her Clinical Fellowship year. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. Speech Pathologists license required for state in which employee provides services.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

  • Speech Pathologist

  • Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)

  • Act 34
