The Position:

 

The Podcast Editor is responsible for editing weekly podcast episodes that connect workplace topics to Arbinger's work. As a seasoned storyteller, you will efficiently create audio documentaries. You'll be responsible for curating content from interviews conducted by other Arbinger interviewers into thematic episodes in a way that addresses the needs of business leaders.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform regular self-assessments using Arbinger's 3A+ assessment tool to gauge and enhance individual performance and impact.
  • Create and edit episodes that follow the theme, format, and overall direction of the podcast.
  • Creatively edit each episode by utilizing Arbinger's interview library---which contains interviews hosted by various team members.
  • Exhibit strong research and script-writing abilities to fill content gaps in episodes in relevant, engaging, and on-brand ways.
  • Display problem-solving skills and initiative to address technical and creative challenges during editing.
  • Work closely with the Executive Producer to ensure content alignment between the podcast episodes and marketing campaigns.
  • Create and curate content to generate a strong followership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and Calendly

     

Preferred Capabilities:

 

  • Expertise in mixing and sound design.
  • A strong sense of urgency and responsiveness with the ability to multitask.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Skilled in long-term planning and visioning, aligning goa ls and resources to achieve overarching objectives, and ensuring sustainable growth and competitive advantage.

     

Preferred Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of recent (within the last 6 months) editing experience required.
  • 1+ years of podcast experience or related work experi nces.

     

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Travel domestically and internationally may be required.

     

Salary: Starting from $55,000/year
