BRIDGE HOUSE, LLC Occupational Therapist in FARMINGTON, Utah

Company Summary Bridge House is a small stabilization and assessment residential program for adults struggling with mental health illness and/or substance abuse issues. We are located in a peaceful and beautiful setting in Farmington, Utah. We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary treatment team. Job Summary The Occupational Therapist will provide diagnostic evaluations to contribute to a comprehensive assessment of residents. They will provide recommendations to help residents learn skills that will assist them in their daily functions. This job is contractual with flexible hours and pay is commensurate with experience. The Occupational Therapist is responsible to provide assessments to several residents each month on location.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Administers and writes evaluations of residents in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.
  • Charts notes as required in the resident's file and in their Bridge to Health Report.
  • Designs treatment programs to increase residents' levels of functioning.
  • Makes recommendations for future interventions.
  • Enforces Bridge House policies and procedures to ensure resident safety.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A solid understanding of Bridge House policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to constant change.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and enforce Bridge House policies and procedures.
  • Must pass background check.
  • Must attend annual required compliance trainings.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy required.
  • 1-2 years' experience preferred.
  • Experience working in mental health and/or residential treatment preferred.

Executive Director, residential staff.
